Our Environmental Responsibility and Sustainability Policy
Our company will:
- Comply with all current and future legislation and other industry requirements.
- Reduce our emissions of greenhouse gases in line with our government targets.
- Seek to continually improve in all areas of our production by targeting, monitoring and reviewing our environmental aspects and impacts and by reviewing our management systems on a regular basis.
- Ensure prudent use of resources and raw materials including gas, electricity and water and where possible source sustainable materials from ethical suppliers.
- Reduce, reuse, recover and recycle waste.
- Identify and manage any key areas of risk.
- Ensure our staff are adequately trained and aware of their individual responsibility to help meet the requirements laid out in this policy.
- Carry out audits both internally and externally to remain compliant.
We will ensure the welfare and development of our employees, minimising risk of injury and work-related illness. Where possible we will provide employment and economic activity to the local communities, whilst being aware of our impact upon them. We will communicate our policy requirements to our employees, contractors and supply chains and the effective implementation of our policies will be a prerequisite and condition of employment.
Quality
MBH PLC is committed to providing high quality products backed with outstanding customer service. We operate a quality management system (QMS) to ensure that we deliver dependable high quality. Our QMS is accredited to ISO 9001:2000. Achievement of this policy involves all employees, who are individually responsible for the quality of their work, resulting in improvements to both operational efficiency and the working environment.
The Company will:
- Maintain an effective QMS complying with ISO 9001 standard.
- Achieve and maintain a level of quality which enhances the Company's reputation with its customers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and safety requirements.
- Endeavour, at all times, to maximise customer satisfaction with the services provided.
- Demonstrate compliance with product standards BS 4729, EN 771-l and EN 1344.
